Here are the (long awaited) pics of my black on black, X51 baby. Miles are still low but I am working on getting the numbers up so I can really rev her to see what she can do.

Beautiful car. I love that airbox!!! Totally transforms the engine compartment. Of course, the other, non-visible goodies are the best part of X51 - that goes w/o saying.
Interesting that the X51 option doesn't get you a recalibrated tachometer face. It still shows the standard 3.8 redline...
(Notice I'm looking really hard for things to complain about here... :-)
Enjoy - and drive the damned thing!!!

who, what.. huh...
OK.. yes I should tear myself away and get those miles on her.. Why is there this stupid occupation called WORK?
As a new 911 owner I will let the other far more experienced X51 owners chime in about the benefits of the "eye candy" airbox.
Dusty? My car dusty? OK.. guilty .. see sentence #1 for a poor excuse. Just wait... I think the Dishwashing detergent and a rag will do the trick... just kidding! although I admit, I better get out and buy the Zaino / PS2 this week.
And.. sharp eye there Lori. yes red belts. I was a little against them when I first saw the car... but they do offset things quite nicely.
Now I outa here. Places to go, gas to burn.. you know..

Andre, beautiful car. I love the the engine of the X51 and in time you'll know that you chose wisely. You may consider the Revo upgrade at some point to give increased torque at low RPM's. Until then enjoy and break her in well.

I see there quite a few of us here in Connecticut. We should arrange a meeting at a convenient location and just have a few laughs together.
I am in the Fairfield area.
Let me know if this is an idea that works.. either here or via a PM.
On the M5 board, we used to do a few group meetings each quarter and get guys from NJ, NY, LI, CT, MA and RI to converge for a day of fun. It was fun getting together, and meeting people who were fellow enthusiasts.
