Yes, I really don't know; it in fact was all of a sudden. Just came to my mind.

Yes, I had already written the inquiry on behalf of everyone on Rennlist and I also sent my condolences on behalf of everyone at Rennlist. I also asked Carol to let us know if there is anything she or their son needs. Let's see what she says. I know we all deal with our grief differently and I don't want to overimpose or something.

Although I am somewhat new to this board and haven't been up on this, it greatly depressed me to read this. I find it very touching that people on this board would go out of their way to find out what happened to this member....my sincere condolences to the family.

Great picture - I too remember the day he posted about his illness...

As long as we remember him and others like him - they will continue to be...

texas911: Nice thought sharing the pix and putting a face on a name. I've gained much from the Cay-993-997 forums from guys like those posting above, and would be pleased to contribute if someone sets it up.

May God Bless Craig and his family. And to think I was upset when my car was damaged this past year. Puts everything in perspecitve. God Speed.

I completely agree. We have to focus on the bright sides and enjoy our lives. Maybe we just need reminders from time to time, such as Craig's sad story or close-calls like these:

https://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum/259951-ot-beware.html

Or particularly this post, which I remember troubled me for weeks:

This thread is locked; to focus on raising donations for Craig's four-year old son, it is continued here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum/358752-re-rip-craig-cope-cjc-new-message-from-his-family.html
