PCCB and aftermarket parts do not factor in as "adds" in the black book. $75K should be a solid clean trade-in number.

IMHO New Gen PCCB brakes are a plus and do ad to resale value. Dealers hated mods on cars and to them the Tubi is a negative. I would suggest removing the Tubi and selling privately which should generate app. $1000-1500. If you are trading in at a Porsche dealer towards let's say a 997tt, your C4S should be worth high seventies since the dealer will sell for mid eighties and he/she has a lot of profit in the tt.

Agree on selling the Tubi privately. PCCB may add to a perceived value on the retail side; however, in no way factor in on the wholesale (trade-in) side. What I quoted was Black Book and not a "we over allow on your trade 'cause we are making wads of cash on your new one."

Point well taken and you are probably correct. No doubt almost all options including X51 add nothing to Black Book values. However, I almost always trade my previous Porsche in on a new one and the dealer has always done quite a bit better than book for my cars because of the relationship, condition and desirable options. This is even after factoring in the discount I could have gotten with an all cash deal. So maybe he can do a little better than 75K with highly desirable options such as PCCB.

PCCB's absolutely add to the trade in of the car. Considering that you can't even order a MY08 car with them, i'd say your car is very marketable.

Good for you. Make sure you are getting a deal on the other car and it is a real deal.

If you are getting the RS at MSRP then you are getting a good deal on both ends.

I rest my case. Glad you like the Tubi idea. If the dealer is really giving you "nothing" for the PCCBs take them off and sell them too. I'll give you my brakes (1600 miles) plus cash for the PCCBs.
