Car is gone to the dealer. Looks like I found a buyer for the Tubi too...Thanks a all for the help...Can't wait for the RS.

Shipping's not bad.......got a quote recently for $3,200 in enclosed pod. Taxes and various import fees will consume much of your profit though. In Sweden for example it adds up to about 35% before they're done with you. The real deal killer however is what Porsche does to the warranty if you take the car overseas. PCNA told me to forget about 4 year/50,000 except for Canada. For all of Europe they said it's up the the local dealers in each respective country. The closest thing to an estimate I got was half of what we start with (2 years/25,000). Still researching this.

The original warranty in Europe (i.e. the free one) is 2 years as you say; after that it's possible to extend it - not sure how long but I've heard up to 10 years; at a cost of around 1200 euros a year. it's a worldwide thing and not a local dealer thing.
