ok, i'm obviously showing my youthful inexperience (just listing those with sporting intentions):
91 Honda Civic (2-door hatchback base model with no ac, stereo, or passenger side mirror)-- but very light and tight with its double-wishbone suspension-- where i first felt connected to a car
93 BMW 318is -- stock except H&R/Bilsteins/very light 17" SSR Integrals, rev-happy 4 cylinder, light and tight (my bmw mechanic called it the modern-day 2002)
2005 BMW 330 ZHP -- limited-edition oem "Performance Package"-- silky smooth inline 6, perhaps the perfect Q ship. sold it for the 996. wish my bmw evolution would have included the venerable M3, but alas, i'm not complaining.
2000 Porsche 996 -- started it all, fell so hard i had to upgrade after a few short months
2005 Porsche 997S -- launch car -- love this car, but a GT3 or TT in my near future?

I actually enjoyed the driving experience of the CaymanS more than my Turbo though and I enjoy the driving experience of the Z better than the CaymanS. Now, if the CaymanS had "just" 400 HP I would feel differently about it vs the Z06. Actually, the Z06 is a darn good car for what I want out of a car. There are some things that drive me crazy about it like some of the engine noise that comes with the 427 push rod engine. I do love the exhuast sound at speed and the styling of the car. I haven't kept any of my recent cars for more than 14 months as I love to sample as many different types as I can (within reason). I see perhaps an M6 in my future in a year or so or even back to a Porsche like a 997S Supercharged???? Who knows??? All I know is that this is a great time to be a car enthusiast. ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
