I'm 36 yrs old and here's my list since I was 17 yrs old. All cars are sold except the last two. All cars were stick shifts, never owned an automatic. This list contains my cars only, they do not include my wife's cars.

Cars are listed in the order owned (some were bought used)

1983 Toyota Celica (first car bought in 1987 when I got my drivers license)
1984 Camaro Z-28
1986 1/2 Nissan Hardbody 4x4 pu
1992 Mustang GT (first new car, was senior in college)
1994 Mustang GT
1994 Corvette
1995 Corvette (was my track car for 5yrs after being daily driver for two years.
1984 Toyota Supra (the beater when I was tracking the 95 vette)
1994 Jeep Wrangler (i needed something for the snow)
1998 BMW 328i
2003 BMW M3 (stolen, otherwise I would still have it)
2002 Corvette Z06 (sold to buy the C4S)
2003 Mini Cooper S (sold to by the S4)
2005 Audi S4 (still have, lease is up next year)
2002 996 C4S (still have)

Talking Found some old pix and finally scanned them...

Hiya,

I was able to find pics of my old cars...

They are a:

1980 Ford Fiesta S (an S package that was affordable). My first car. Bought used in 1981 for $4100. In the end, it was free of it's air pump and had a new header and Koni's. Sold to a cop and I'm sure it's long gone by now. Had to use Heet in the winter to prevent carb icing. Slamming the doors made a great ringing sound. Speedo stopped at 85mph.

1986 Isuzu Impulse Turbo (bought in '87 for $8500). A great looking Giugiaro design, covering up crappy GM guts. The only thing that kept working was the actual turbocharger. The car was stolen in BH on Olympic Blvd and parted out (an Isuzu?? Only in Los Angeles...). The pic below is post-auto theft (complete loss).

1992 Mazda Miata ($14,000). I miss this one. It was a B package car with LSD and ABS. A death trap by today's standards, with one airbag and no steel reinforcing the doors... It later had a SS roll bar, Tokiko shocks, Jackson intake, and the BBS wheels from the special edition. A great car, but sold when we moved East.

1997 M3, Cosmos Black ($40,000). After 10 years, it was time for a change, but I loved this car. I sold it to my nephew on the proviso that I can buy it back when he wants to eventually sell it. Sharked, Dinan/Koni suspension, Celis projector lenses. It sure looks nice without the Bangle influence and the proportions from front to back look a lot better than the new M3, which seems a bit huge. Drove it in the snow without problems...

Enjoy the pix!

Thumbs up

Jakeman- those are cool pix. I remember a rented Fiesta in the UK back in 90s, fun to blast around once I got acclimated to the rhd. I believe Ford sold them in EU for a decade or more after discontinuing US sales. Giugiaro for the masses--Impulse had some of the cleanest lines of its era, probably best looking hatchback ever.

Here you go starting 24 years ago when I was 18:

1969 MGB (1st bite of the sportscar bug)
1974 Porsche 914 2.0 (drove it for 6 years as daily summer car and loved every second of it)
1980 Triumph TR8 (limited production V8 version of the TR7)
nearly two decades of boring company cars (tauruses, luminas, bonnevilles, etc. too many to list and none were sports cars)
04 BMW 330 Cabriolet
05 Porsche 997 Cabriolet

Boy am I happy to be back in the sports car game with my teenage dream car the 911!
