Some of the posts are more complicated than necessary and provide less than convincing suggestions regarding filling the oil.
A good procedure to follow is:
-Check the oil on a level surface after the car has sat for at least 15 to 30 minutes.
-When 2 bars show, add 1/2 quart oil.
-Do not add oil if the display shows 1 bar down.
