Wasn't Ferry Porsche's idea when he made the first 911s to have a car free of frills, bells & whistles and whatnot, something that would be the ultimate connection of the driver to the road?

For those that want options like 405908340932-disc changers, get a Cayenne.

Well I think the ultimate connection to the road part is still alive and well. As for the bells & whistles, it's simply good business for Porsche.
