Default Aftermarket gauge bezels ?

Google has failed me....
The search function has failed me.....
Does anyone know where I can purchase aluminium look gauge bezels for a 997 ????

There are 3459876876568405968068 companies selling them for 996's
....but I cant find a single one selling them for 997's

I spec'd my 997S with black faced gauges, as the brochure seemed to show the bezels being as light coloured as the cup holder cover and a/c vent trim
Not the case...

1024 pic
It needs some aluminium to give it definition

Help !

i've been having the same problem with finding 987 guage bezels . it seems that these bezels are everywhere for the 986 boxsters but nowhere to be found for the new cars .

Not sure if they will have it, but it may be worth checking automotion.com.

OK here's the facts, just the facts.

We've stocked the 996/986 rings for many long years, and ONLY the rings authenticated by the oem provider to Porsche, not some cheesy aftermarket crud.

THAT mfr does what Porsche tells it to. They produce some trim for Porsche vehicles, and then make aftermarket parts as well. BUT, Porsche has yet to give them the green light to make the rings for the 997/987, and as their bread is buttered by Stuttgart, they won't pull the trigger on their own.

WHEN or IF they ever do, we'll have 'em. You may find cheap knock-offs somewhere, but nothing oem or close.

Sorry!

Before you waste good money on garbage, just a reminder that all GT3's and the GT2 come standard with black gauges. Just saying.......it's not like your car is hexed or something.

mickfluff
I gave up for the moment....rationalising that give it time, and they will appear on the market.
I have also toyed with the idea of having the instrument cluster removed, disasembled, and the bezels airbrushed !

sandwedge
that is good news
given time, they will appear on the market
