The only way I've found to keep my brakes silent...
Every week I must thoroughly spray the brakes with the hose (when cold) flush out the calipers and make sure to spray all the perforations well; but eventually the damn slow speed squeal always returns. I've tried all the high speed braking stuff etc etc and nothing seems to work. A guy on Renntech had the exact same problem on his new 07C4S and his dealership cleaned the brakes and applied anti squeal paste about 3 weeks ago with good results the last I heard (I will ask him again for an update). I've never had good luck with anti squeal paste curing this problem on some new MB's I've had in the past and only a rotor and pad change did the trick. My dealer is willing to try the paste...anyone have good luck with this stuff on their 997's?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Suggest you coat the back of the pads in a high temp product such as copaslip
http://www.molyslip.com/Products/Copaslip.html
Stops the pads vibrating under braking, and this stops the squeal.
The cheap pad gunk may not stand the high temps of the Porsche brakes - Copaslip is the best product I've used for this application.

Porsche replaced pads and rotors some time ago, thankfully I had them keep a record of the noise from around 1000 miles on as Porsche is not too crazy about replacing these things lol...
