I never had an issue with my 'S' over 30k of driving

For a more unique experience, try driving a GT3...or an AeroKit equiped car

The scraping sound never gets better, a permanent cringe

I feel your pain...being able to visualize when and where you are going to scrape is an acquired skill...I am still very much in the learning mode. Sometimes you just can't help it and for those times you just have to grin and bear it. It's the price we pay for driving an everyday supercar...well worth it in my book.

Back up vehicle are always the safest and stress free bet when driving in urban areas where you'll be going in and out of unfamiliar driveways, etc.

I understand everyone has their own preferences (we can see this with the ongoing clear bra debate) but why are some of you guys ok with drilling holes in the bottom of your bumper and having a black plastic piece that gets and looks all scratched up anyway, but are scared to get a few scratches on the bottom of the bumper.
I used to be pretty bad about trying to keep the bumper scratch free too but I would rather have a few scratches than a bunch of holes...
soon we are gonna start seeing posts on how to protect your bumper protection plate from getting scraped...LOL

again, it is not the scraping that is bothersome but the actual "bottoming out" of the front spoiler on steep/V shaped driveway entrances/exits. when it happens it's not fun, that's all i can say....

hope all is well MJones
