Default Hard Start, Rough Idle, then Check Engine Light

Hi,

My 05 997 S developed a problem after sitting in my garage for a week while I was on vacation. When trying to start the car, it would turn over, but not fire. Tried a couple of times, and it sounded like it would almost catch, but would not. I tried again, and gave it a little gas, and it coughed, and then started, idling roughly, but cleared up after a couple of blips of the throttle. Took it out for a ride to clean it out and all was well. The next moring, after starting it up to go to work, it again had a somewhat rough idle (like I had a fouled spark plug), but it cleared with the quick rev, but the dreaded CEL came on. The car is stock except for AWE mufflers and cats, which the PO had installed in June of 2006. The dealer is having trouble with the codes being spit out, and is having to get up with Porsche NA, they have had the car 3days with no resolution.
Anybody have any ideas or similar experiences?

Thanks,

Dave
