I couldn't resist taking this picture yesterday, thick in our winter weather. The car was freshly waxed (Harleys) and ready for a local PCA drive in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. No snow chains were required along the route!

Cruel and unusual post title! Here I was thinking it would be some other "snow country" lament... I do envy you guys in warmer climates that can enjoy year round. We recently had our first snow and that means tons (literally) of gravel on the roads. I won't call it sand because it's not. In the "old days" I think they did use sand, but not any longer (we get marble sized projectiles mixed in - perhaps for the big SUV tire treads to provide better grip). So, my new 997S is in hibernation... Continue to enjoy!
