Default Winter Photo

I couldn't resist taking this picture yesterday, thick in our winter weather. The car was freshly waxed (Harleys) and ready for a local PCA drive in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. No snow chains were required along the route!

That's a beautiful pic, Dan.

Too bad you let that little piece of debris there on the stone mar an otherwise perfect shot.

Actually, Ben, I saw that leaf but decided to leave it in. It's still always just a snap shot!

Okay,--here's a few,--and still waiting on California for plates! The wheels,--haven't been cleaned in weeks.

The last is The Palms,--in Carpinteria. (Joe's car is front and center)...

Beautiful pics.

But I'd like to see some real winter pics of a pcar in the snow. Nothing like a C4S sitting in a snowy field demonstrating its mastery of the weather.

Cruel and unusual post title! Here I was thinking it would be some other "snow country" lament... I do envy you guys in warmer climates that can enjoy year round. We recently had our first snow and that means tons (literally) of gravel on the roads. I won't call it sand because it's not. In the "old days" I think they did use sand, but not any longer (we get marble sized projectiles mixed in - perhaps for the big SUV tire treads to provide better grip). So, my new 997S is in hibernation... Continue to enjoy!

Dan – I’m in awe every time I see pics of your car. It has to be one of the best custom color combos I’ve ever seen. It was made to photograph
