Default Tire Pressure Air Gauge, What to Buy?

I need a new tire pressure air gauge.

I would like opinions on a good quality gauge.

Thanks,

Mike

I have an intercomp fluid filled guage that has worked great for me.

What I really like about this particular one is that the guage itself is surrounded by soft rubber for protection.

Accu-Gage Tire Gauge

All Accu-Gage® 1-1/2", 2" and 2-1/2" dial tire gauges are ANSI Commerical Grade B gauges, which is the best quality gauge typically used for tire pressure applications.
These tire gauges use a fully geared, solid brass precision movement with bronze bourdon tube. Unlike piston-plunger-type gauges, the bourdon tube movement is not affected by changes in temperature, humidity, altitude or air stream contaminants.
The mechanical accuracy rating is ± 2% from 25% to 75% of scale and ± 3% below 25% and above 75%.

A 60 psi tire gauge is accurate to +/- 1.2 psi from 15 to 45 psi and is calibrated to ± 1 psi at 30 psi.

I just purchased the Accu-Gage with hose and swivel nozzle from getagage.com. $20.00 to my door in a couple of days. Very satisfied.

I have had a pair of those simple, cheap "slider" like gauges for 30 years. They still read identically to the TPMS in my Benz. No reason to spend good money on a gauge.

Are digital gauges affected buy extreme temperatures? Reason that I'm asking is because I noticed significant discrepancy between my longacre digital and the Porsche analog when checking the air pressure outside in 20*F.
