As you can see this (was) terrible. I've lowered the resolution to the lowest with Adobe Photoshop (1). The only way I can get the image below 19.5k is reduce the image size to 80 x 70. What am I doing wrong?

I wouldn't use PS. If you use Windows:

Another freebie with more image manipulation features than ms paint:
http://www.irfanview.com
But its not an image editor like ms paint. It's also good for looking at p0rnz

Subject: English
I said: I wouldn't use PS.
I: The nominative case of the pronoun of the first person; the word with which a speaker or writer denotes himself.
And why wouldn't I use PS? ...
1) Don't have.
2) Don't know.
And apparently from the difficulties others are having using PS, Windows Photo Editor is easier to use.
So where you been? Haven't seen you all year.

Wow typically when someone says "I wouldn't use X" the two:
* I don't have
* I don't know
are not the first to come to mind, maybe replace: "I wouldn't" with "I don't" ?
I'll second my IrfanView vote. I've used it for years for image manipulation, again not for editing like PS or MS Paint.
It's also how I made my avatar from a professional GotBlueMilk shot when I was up at Thunderhill.

Well, this one speaks to me. I just happen to like it a lot. I'm a big fan of Surrealism art: Dali et al.
What, you've never worn a favorite suit more than once?

BTW speaking of avatars yours does look a bit pixelated, is that intended? I remember that one from a while back and doesn't look the same.

Anyway, yeah, it does look a little pixelated. Thanks for pointing that out.
Must have been done with photoshop. I'll fix it tonight with MS.

I have found with Photoshop that you have to reduce the Dots Per Inch (DPI) as well as the size of the photo. Reducing the JPEG image quality from High to Medium will also bring down file size.
