I will again repeat myself....Mineral Spirits WILL NOT damage the paint on the Porsche, or the clear coat on the Porsche. Use it to remove soluable materials and then rinse with water and mild soap. It will NOT soften the clearcoat or paint. It will remove any wax on the part.
