Just bought a 997 S today.....
I've been without a street Porsche for 2 years since I bought my 04' Cup car.I was looking for something my GF and I could share for weekends and the like.... I almost bought an 04' 40th anniversay edition, but I heard it might be a misdemeanor to own two 04' P-cars.... So I flew to Las Vegas this afternoon and picked up this beauty and just now got home. Probably the nicest combination of street and road car I've ever driven, and I've driven a few....
Plans include Synergy's Kinesis/Champion wheels, the Aerokit front bumpercover(I can live without the wing), H&R's or PSS9's, and MAYBE a harness compatible seat and roll bar....

Nice car. You'll surely enjoy it.
Excellent taste in exterior color! (I may be a little biased.)
Here is a pic of my Atlas 997 with a set of Kinesis F110s before I got the car lowered.
Enjoy it.

Congrats. Great color combo. I have the grey interior and picked up a set of the Llyods mats in grey w/red piping.
Have you already changed out the amber side markers for the clear?

Hi JR,
I know what you mean. All the damn racing dulled my enthusiasm for a fun street car. Bought a 2006 997 two weeks ago. She is bone stock base model and will stay that way. Picked it up in Ft Lauderdale, drove to the Airport long term parking and have not seen it since. I will be back this week. Looking forward to driving it!
Congrats on your new toy!
