Hi JR,
I know what you mean. All the damn racing dulled my enthusiasm for a fun street car. Bought a 2006 997 two weeks ago. She is bone stock base model and will stay that way. Picked it up in Ft Lauderdale, drove to the Airport long term parking and have not seen it since. I will be back this week. Looking forward to driving it!
Congrats on your new toy!

Sounds like we are both going through pena-pause ;->
I actually went to Palm Beach to buy a Lotus Esprit TT V8 2004. One of the last cars built. I drove it and thought WTF were they thinking.

Congrats on your new "S". I also bought an '05 from the same dealer off ebay about a month ago. It was a great experience! They were very professional and honest about the car so that there were no surprises on delivery, (to Canada). Have fun with the new toy.

Great looking car. Mine however is being repaired as we speak from a accident this past December. Drive and love your new baby. And remember to look in the rear view mirror when at a stop light.
Take Care a best of luck.

I inquired as to the pricing for the Aerokit front bumper cover from a few Porsche dealers. Bev Hills Porsche said the front cover could not be ordered without the wing, but Rusnak Porsche quoted $2,000., and Sunset Porsche in Oregon quoted $1,450. both for the 2-piece front cover. Interesting......
