I do agree the Hoen fogs look better, but i'm still a little confused about what to buy. Do we have fogs and driving lights? Do we need to replace both of these bulbs? Or are the fogs and driving lights the same unit?

Also, as for the license plate bulbs. The pictures are obviously brighter with the Hoen bulbs but does it really make that big of a difference? Does seeing it in person make a bigger difference?

JW: In the old days: fogs were spreaders and driving lamps were projectors. Perhaps the words are now interchangable - espec. since when the HIDs are switched-on-Bright, they really punch a hole in the Night.

The face of the Virgin won't appear in your back plate ..and like a lot of life: the big things are already taken by others, so you're left with the small details. I often am satisfied with some of the smaller ones yet.

http://www.hoen-usa.com/997.htm Thats the kit!
Pics dont do it justice, the difference is much nicer in person. Not just brighter looking but cleaner light perhaps is a better description.

After seeing the pictures .. I placed an order for the H8 bulbs yesterday. I just got confirmation that they were sent out (with tracking number).

Thanks for the pictures!

I'm ready to place my order but still have a few questions. I dont' want the sidemarkers but i do want the fogs and parking lights. Are these two different bulbs or are the fogs and parking lights the same thing? The picture on the Hoen sight also confuses me. One of the three arrows looks to be pointing to the actual headlight casing. The fogs and driving lights aren't contained in the headlight housing are they?

The car on the Hoen site is a turbo. For the non-turbo models the fog and driving lights are in the lighting cluster in the bumper.

Thanks for the quick reply BUM, does that mean that the fogs and the driving lights are separate lights? Are the ones for the driving lights the same as the rear license plate lights?

I find it a bit odd HOEN does not have a designated number for retail customer service but only a # for wholesale inquiries (831-417-2623) and I tried that number numerous times and just got a recording (which does not even state the name of the company) to leave a message or fax. The other number (877-294-0273) listed here was for 2CO/Checkout, not HOEN.

Eric @ bumperplugs should sell these, he's always available and so very helpful.

Once you're through the Twilight Zone ordering system all's good.

If you e-mail them you get a prompt response. Done and done.
But there is a 310 number for Andreas @ Hoen floating around somewhere on the site.

The "310"number, or any customer service # should be on their site in the first place!

The fog lights and the driving lights are separate lights, but they are in the same casing. If you are looking directly at the car, the "lights" you see in the bumper are the fog lights. If you move right up to the car and look in the housing where the fog light is located, you will see a smaller blue bulb protruding in the same space with the fog light. That is the driving light.

The driving lights are W5W and the license plate lights are C5W. Same price but different bulbs.

Sorry the second reply was not as quick as the first.

I thought those little blue one's were the parking light bulbs; where are the parking light bulbs located?
Thanks

I think we have been using parking lights and driving lights interchangeably. But those are the only other lights in the casing other than the turn signal lights on the corners and on the sides that I see.
