Default Option 666 Cell Phone Upstate NY

Hi
Does anyone in Upstate NY, preferably the Rochester area, have the PCM phone module option 666 and Cingular service? Before I add this to my next car I wonder how well it works in my area. I understand the Porsche module is only tri-band instead of quad and wonder if the missing band is a big deal in my area.
Thanks

Remember...you have to take the SIM chip out of the car and put it back into your phone every time if you wish to use the same number for each!!!

I drove from my home in the DC area to Woodstock and around the mountains for a few days before returning home when visiting friends up there.

I have a "Cingular" SIM card purchased just for the car - it worked "FLAWLESSLY" (sp.) the whole time.

Forwarded the home and work phone to the car - everything was great!

The price of the 666 option: $960, price of adding another line with Cingular $9.99 per month, help from your fellow Renlist members....PRICELESS!
Thanks a ton for the feedback

I wanted to do the same thing, but coverage using my wife's Cingular SIM is just horrible. Worst $ spent on the car so far.

Bewarned, it takes MANY hours to install. Not worth it if you didn't order the car with it.
