Default PDE is Awesome

I just finished the two day high performance course at PDE in Birmingham and it was awesome. The instruction was excellent, the facility was excellent, the material and cars were excellent, the food was excellent, and the hotel was excellent.
I know you have all heard this before on this forum but I wanted to share my experience. I learned so much it is unbelievable. I cannot wait to go back for the master's course next year.
Hey Brian, practically the whole staff says hello.
I was lucky enough to be paired with a fast team from the beginning so we enjoyed higher speeds on the track early in the program which made us much more relaxed the second day. This experience will make me a much better driver on and off the track!

Great to hear that you had a blast!

PDE should be required for all owners of Porsches, it's just that good, not to mention that it may be the only time that they will ever get close to it's limits.

Like the Hot Laps?

The good news is that if you Book a Masters within 30 days of receipt of the envelope that will arive in your mailbox, you get a 10% discount!

You had a blast at the HP course...wait till you do the Masters

I am glad I used the SEARCH function...I am very interested in PDE next year and want any and all info on the 2 day course.

So...cost wise...its $3K for the 2 day. How much more do I need? Airfare? Rental car? food? evening entertainment? What other costs are there that I need to know about?

I want to become a better driver..and what better way to learn right?

Also..do they take your pic driving? or is there video of you driving?

If you stay at Ross Bridge they will pick you up from the Airport, as well as shuttle you to and from the track.

You can fly into Birmingham from Burbank.

Dinner between day one and two is included in the two day PDE at Ross Bridge.

You will without question come home a better driver and have a much better appreciation for the car that you drive.

No pics of you driving...you'll have to hand off your camera to another classmate for one of those...
No Video
A momento picture will be taken along side the car you are driving.

You will not regret attending the Porsche Driving Experience

My wife just informed me that she signed me up for a two-day class in April. February is already all booked. Very excited.

Excellent....great. I will also check out this links when I get home. Yes I would prolly fly in from BURBANK!

So all is needed is airfare..and some pocket change huh?
What do you wear? Jeans and T shirt?

What sort of souvenirs are there? Do they have
"I just completed PDE and all I got was this lousy T shirt" t shirts for sale? Do you get some sort of certificate you can come home and frame?

Sorry for all the newbie questions. I may have to combine my xmas and bday wishes into ONE...

If you can swing it schedule wise (and $$) you should take 4 days and do the intro and masters back to back. That way you'll be sure you won't forget anything by the time you get back next year or when every you can get back.

I haven't done it yet, but that's how I plan on doing it.

Just got back from the 2 day Nov. 9 & 10. Everything was perfect as advertised. I flew out of Burbank connector in Las Vegas and on to AL. No long layovers almost as good as a direct which I could not find. I stayed at Ross Bridge 3 nights and paid for 1 nice dinner there and bill was about $800. for the 3 nights dinner and incidentals. Shuttles were great and even ran my wife and another wife out at 1:00 P.M. yesterday so they could enjoy the afternoon at the track and take a few hotlaps. No charge on either the shuttle or the afternoon or having the wives tag along to the Porsche dinner on day one. Everything was first class and MJones is correct on everything he says on this subject IMO.
