Default Road Trip continued......

Back on the road, a 513 mi day from Illinois to Birmingham, AL crossing thru Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee.

A great day for driving with 35% on two lane "country roads"...that go thru towns where the speed limit can drop as slow as 25mph.
Being on the road and seeing America from a roads eye view is great.

Never quite understood why some buy a Porsche only to park it in the garage and take it out on a weekend, but only in perfect weather. What fun is that??

Cumulative total for this outing so far is 2556 mi.

In Birmingham to attend aother PDE Masters on Thurs/Fri.
Sat I will start the return trip West back to CA.

I'm jealous, nothing like the open road in a nice car. Travel safe and have fun at PDE. Make sure you check out the museum next to the track.

I agree, make sure you take time for the Museum. Lots of good local restaurants.
If you need any local assistance from a fellow driver don't hesitate to call. 205-613-2791. David

The photo chronology of your trip is great. Makes me wish I were driving cross country too.

MJ what has been your top speed in traveling across the US this trip? When is the anticipated arrival of the GT3? Good luck on your trip.
