Default After a storm...C4S

Poked my head outdoors a few hours after some major storms...the sky was just beautiful with the days final burst of sunlight skimming over the clouds. Had to get a few pictures of the 997 in that light.

Great looking car. I'm a little partial since I have the C4S as well.

Nice shots, were those taken with an SLR camera?

Also notice just how darn wide those 4S rear tires are compared to the regular S, whats it 305 compared with the standard 295?

Thanks kauai. Nope pics taken with an old (but still my fav digi cam) Sony DSC F505. Its 5 years old and I love it. The Zeiss lens is the key. Its really a nice lens.

Yep the rear tires are Michelin PS2 305's... they are wide and yummy!

Thanks mdrums. Getting the exposure right is always such a challenge. I still feel that some of my shots were slightly over exposed as I wanted more of the orange light that was prevalent at the time. Ah well, we'll keep trying.

I was under the impression from dealer and from the spec of the C2S that 295's are the standard tire for the C2S. It may have of course changed recently.

Thanks! These are beautiful machines and THAT is a beautiful set of photos. I was inspired to Haiku... Haku.

The C2S with certain wheels get the 305/30's! I swear mine are this and I have the same wheels as you.

Also have the XRR rims. Discovered today that they are not by BBS but by a company with initials STTI. (I finally got around to jacking up the whole car and pulling all the rims off). These wheels are MASSIVE. Each corner, with tires and balanced are about 100 lbs!

Been busy washing my wheelwells...

Was never doubting you. If it's got XRR's then it makes sense.

Eddgy01, aren't the XRR's an easy wheel to clean? I find them a lot easier to clean.
100lbs! cripes...

What can I say, I'm speechless after reciting your haiku.
Just wonderful. No need to hide...the poet emerges!
