Default What's included w/ full leather

What codes are included w/ full leather? I downloaded a order guide @ renntech.org like you guys suggested and it shows all the leather options seperately with a little guide but it does not state what is included w/ full leather.

I figured out (with your help) how to order adaptive sport seats AND full leather but I am trying to figure out what parts will change to leather w/ the full leather option.

I did search but I could not find the answer.

Sorry to be a PIA

Full leather: upper dash (but not defroster trim), lower dash (but not sides), A pillar only (no trim), B & C Pillars (no trim and no Cabrio), door panels (but not handle trim nor speaker covers), front center console (not rear center), front of seats, rear of seats (non-sport seats), plus steering wheel, handbrake lever, gearshift lever and center storage box cover.

Leather is available for almost any other surface trim in the car...

Full leather is a great option, Tony... the stitching looks fantastic, IMHO. Everyone comments positively on the door tops and dash, and the smell is so.... nice - even after six months of ownership.

I love the look in my car - just remember, you'll need a couple of bottles of Einszett Lederpflege or the like to moisturize it immediately... that being said, it appears to be exceptionally well done.

BTW, your 356 is totally gorgeous! Good luck with the 997 purchase...

Even the dealerships are rather poor at giving you a straight answer at what exactly is included in a 'full leather interior.'

For example, what is "XMZ Rear Center Console - Leather" when Foxhomie cites this as part of the interior leather: "Full leather: upper dash (but not defroster trim), lower dash (but not sides), A pillar only (no trim), B & C Pillars (no trim and no Cabrio), door panels (but not handle trim nor speaker covers), front center console (not rear center), front of seats, rear of seats (non-sport seats), plus steering wheel, handbrake lever, gearshift lever and center storage box cover."

I guess that means that JUST the stoage box COVER is in leather while all the rest is in that slush treatment.

I ran into similar difficulties when trying to order my 06 cabrio's leather. I took a line drawing of the interior of a 997 and attempted to highlight everything that was supposed to be in leather with a 'Full Leather Interior.' It leaves a bunch of stuff,--which contrasts greatly with years ago from Porsche. When you ordered a car in the 1980s you GOT all leather, none of this mix and match stuff.

If you like you can go to the hyperlink in my signature line and look at an interior shot I took of my cabrio in full brown leather and a bunch more.

Don,
Thanks. The old girl is quite a ride.
Dan,
Can I assume from your options then that all the things not included in the "full leather" are the codes you ordered?
MJ,
Thanks - I'll check the guide again tonight. I did see what was listed for the bi-color but it was not listed anywhere else.
GR,
It's only money...............

Full leather does look great, but back in the 80's when Porsche used alot of that, especially in 928s, the dashes would shrink and crack after just a couple years. I realize that was a long time ago, but I would not be surprised to see the same issues with leather dashes today.
