I plan to get my next Porsche in the US and I'm quite sure my local dealer will honor the warranty and provide good service. If you're not getting good service on your NA warranty, write your dealer and PCNA, tell your firends, etc. PAG should not get away with charging their inflated CDN prices. Customers should show PAG how they feel and head south for better prices.

No, being along when my friend went there and they began consulting with him on upgrades on his 86' 928 - which he ended up selling later due to insurance rates going up for him after an accident in his parent's car and some speeding tickets.
Also they don't mind me walking through the dealership ogling the lamborghinis and were actually very friendly, unlike MCL next door.

By the way - everything is cheaper in the US right now when you do the dollar conversion. I'll be getting a very handsome bird dog from my parents when they get their new Escalade. A fully loaded escalade goes for $83,000 up here. (canadian) - in the us it's 62,000 ish USD or about 68,000 canadian. I diod the dollar conversion and at live market rates, the savings was over $15,000 canadian.
Personally I agree! For 15,000 - I'll put up with someone being a pain about scheduling service.

However now the question becomes how much does it cost to retrofit and do the inspections? Duty? US Tax, PDI, etc? Canadian Taxes on the full US price?

AutoOne on west 3rd between Pine and Burrard just down the street from MCL Porsche! I bought 4 cars from them over the years and the last 2 were US cars which I placed an order for. I saved a great deal of money by buying a US car, so I am happy. They have some very shapely saleswomen in there too!
