Foggy - You car looks AWESOME! I love the wheels and the new ride height looks perfect. GREAT JOB and thanks for sharing the pics, 'cuz I am a real pic ****!

Raffi - you car looks great. While I am not really into rear wings, I really like the look of yours. It looks really good! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see how it looks with the spacers.

Great looking car. I can understand how you feel in that I recently traded my 02 M3 in for a CPO 05 997 Carrera. Miss the M3 but am in love with it's replacement. Drove her last night and just details like the interior lighting and the sound just amazed me in comparison to my old 996. Well done car. Your wheels look great spacers or not.

My impression so far in what 3 days with the care is that the base 997 is a much better car than the base 996 I had. It has more power, is smoother, the interior is much more what I'd expect in a car of this $$$ range, and the exterior looks more 911 with the return to the round lights and the coke bottle shape at the waist.

In a way it's sort of like the cute girl you dated in junior H.S that you lost contact with after you started HS in a different suburb only to find her again in 11th or 12th grade when she transfers back to your side of town...ONLY now she's grown up quite a bit and is Angelina Jolie or Halle Berry's exact twin! LOL Same girl you used to know and love but in a more well developed and mature/sophisticated package!

Nice comparison. Thanks.

I've got a manual trans low-mileage 1998 C2S that I love, but don't want to sell or use as an everyday driver.

However, I've got a couple other cars that I'll sacrifice in order to get a tiptronic 997 or 996 to use as an everyday driver.

Sounds like I should go for the 997.

Default For Sale

Just as a reminder, car is still up for sale. I had it listed under classified section with no luck and it's currently running in both cars.com and ebay. It's been rather quiet on the leads and I've decided to lower the price down to $83.9K. Please let me know if anyone is interested. 3 months old with 3500 miles and the car is located in Frisco, TX. Local dealership will process paperwork for both parties. Thanks.

Here is a recent pic with the Techart springs installed.

Reading pretty far back are we? I thought I was having deja vu until I noticed this thread is over a year old. His pics had helped me to decide which wheels to buy last year.

I remember when I was new to RL and used to read archives all day....ahhh the memories....
