Default New 06 C2 S with Champion RS98

Just wanted to post some pictures of my new ride (hope this works). Traded in my 02 M3 (which I loved) for my first 911. Love the car so far but can't wait until it's broken in to fully appreciate. This forum is a wealth of knowledge......already hardwired my V1, set PSE to always be on, removed rear seat backs and know what future upgrades I will pursue.

The wheels are on stock springs without any spacers (so far) and are 8.5X19F 11.5X19R.

Options:
Black Leather Sport Seats with White backs
Sport Exhaust (love it!)
Sport Shifter with Aluminum gear shift (love it!)
Red Belts
Red Instrument Dials
Headlight cleaner in white
Read deck model desig in white
Rear console in white
Foot rest aluminum
Self dimming mirrors
Heated seats
Sport chrono +
Bose
Porsche baby seat in back

I love the model designation and headlight washers in body-color. I'm surprised more people don't order those options...I know I would have if they were available in 2005...

very nice wheels, but it does look like you need spacers... i dont understand why they just dont have perfect offsets out the box and look like stock.

The closest Porsche wheel to this size is the Carrera Sport whic has 8.5 (F) and 11.5 (R). The Porsche offsets are 55 and 67mm, respectively while the Champion offsets are 53 and 62mm, respectively - not too far off from OEM. However the Carrera Sport uses 17mm spacers on the rear so as suggested, you might want to look into spacers.

Beautiful carrera S and great choice on the wheels. They were also my choice when it came to changing from the Lobsters that came standard.

They are not...they are actually 295's. I'm having the dealer swap out to 305s. There was a misunderstanding on the order of the new wheels, they came with 11.5s instead of 11s. The 305s swapped out should help in filling in the wheel and sit on the rim bitter. This along with the Techart springs I just ordered should complete the look and hopefully keep me from having to add spacers. I'll post some pics again once everything is complete.

By the way, just changing from the lobster claws with Pzeros to the RS98s with PS2s, I could notice a definite improvement on handling....not sure how much has to do with the lighter wheels versus going from Pzeros to PS2s. Can't wait to see what the Techart springs do.

What is the width of your RS97s? Are they 11 or 11.5? If 11.5, then no problem.
