I think that's the baseline price, MH. Depending on color, it can go higher...

It will definitely delay delivery!

WOW so depending on color it could be anywhere from 5K to 10K??? Would that seem correct?

No.

Dan will confirm this, but any paint-to-sample is a flat fee (currently less than 5k), provided they're willing to paint it.

The cost is driven by manufacturing costs not the material cost of the paint, which is negligible.

Is this what color you have on order, and if so how much did Porsche charge you for it? I can see spending more $ on some nice special color, but that green just makes my want to run away

No, I got Speed Yellow. Even if I wanted green (its my favorite color, but I think it rarely looks good on cars), I wouldn't pay the cost for a paint-to-sample color - even if it is a Porsche standard.

I like your choice of Speed Yellow, My buddy had a 996 GT3 in Speed and it looked increadible. Nice choice and probably better resale value than the green

Ben,

I was close at 5K. The actual option is $4,315. Have a look at this sticker.

Thanks Mitch. Yeah, I remember it being 4 something, and was positive it was less than 5k.
