that has to be the nicest looking 997 Cab I have seen, that color with the natural interior and ceramic brakes looks hot. Enjoy it.

Congratulations on a great looking car. I'll be in Santa Barbara next week and will be taking your recommended tour albeit not in my 911. Did you get a factory tour? Details please.

Dan - your car is utterly stunning!!!! I absolutely love the color and combo (and the PCCBs look sharp too). Can't wait to mosey up to SB someday and see her in person. I think a future Porsche of mine may be a similar blue.
I can't think anyone I'm happier for, seeing you FINALLY picking up your baby in Deutschland, and having time to enjoy as well.
For posting images, you might try http://www.imageshack.us/. You can automatically size it with the drop down box. I think their limit is much higher than rennlist (maybe 1mb). Once you upload, copy the bulletin board info and paste it into your rennlist post, and your pictures should then simply appear in your rennlist post.
Please post lots of pics and your impressions!
Enjoy!

Thanks everyone. The weather has been incredible since I arrived. Sort of like the SOCal weather of two weekends ago. Actually a little too intense for a Cabrio right now. The color reproduction looks pretty close on the screen. It is the only onethey have done in that color. It truly stood out everywhere. Most were silvers and black, with an occasional red,--when I took the factory tour on Monday. One of my neighbors was collecting his white Cayman S on Monday, and then mine on Tuesday. (He ran his down to Pfaffinghausen to RUF that afternoon for really custom paint, etc.)
The car has some Makkasar trim, including the wheel. I like it very much--cooler to the touch than the leather sections. I cannot say enough about the sport exhaust and 'sport' button,--big differences. The GPS nav system is incredible. I arrived at my friends' home in Heidelberg so quickly they weren't prepared for me! The system constantly updates its routing information to you. If you deviate from the original route choise it quickly replots the next best route and proceeds to give directions for that. You can even punch in a Lat-Long coordinate and it will quickly find the roads that will take you to that spot. Brakes are nice feeling. Smooth.
The tour was incredible compared to the last time I got one. EVERYTHING is computerized. Everything is JIT,--Just In Time. They take 55 minutes to pump out a 911 today. They use 1 hr 20 minutes to build an engine. All 911s are made in Zuff and all Caymans and Boxsters in Finland now because of the incredible demand for the 911s. They hand over 25-30 911s through factory delivers everyday. 15 on Saturdays. They have a regular little production line for even that. They have supply trucks coming in regularly feeding the line. Their inventory of material is minimal. (They just don't have the space). One vendor brings in fully assembled front suspensions. He comes every 30 minutes with 6, in special SN order, to fit in to the production sequence. They have this production thing down.
The image reducer didnät work for me because my starting file was so large, so I'll try something else!
