Default Coochas Videos - over 1 TB Served

About a month ago, coochas.com quietly celebrated its passing of the 1 TB (yes, that’s terabyte) served mark. That’s a lot of downloading !!!

Since I was incapacitated to do the reading that I wanted to do today (secondary to Friday night festivities), I decided it was time to assemble another round of Coochas Videos!!!!

Some of these vids have already been posted here,…I’ve added some new ones as well for your enjoyment. I have also separated the 997 videos into areas for:
997 2/2S
997 4/4S
997 GT3/TT/GT2(??)

Please visit the Coochas 911 Vid Page to enjoy these new videos.

NEW VIDS ADDED TO THE SITE:

997S – Fifth Gear segment “Girls Aloud” featuring this British pop band driving, you guessed it, a 997S on a track. Absolutely priceless ending involving a Ferrari!

997S Autobahn Storming – Linked on Rennlist last week, this British dude goes top end on the Autobahn and makes a hilarious video out of it.

997 vs Cayman S – Best Motoring (Japanese),…I always enjoy watching the BMI stuff.

997 C4 Quicktime 3D models from the Porsche site.

997 C4S vs Audi RS4 vs Gallardo in the snow (linked on Rennlsit a few weeks ago).

997 C4 Edmunds Review (Thanks stan523...aka Paul)

997GT3 Review in German (now 5 total GT3 vids on the site).

997TT at Weissach in Dutch.

996TT (Ruf) vs MB CL65 top end at Airstrip. Fast friggin cars.

996TT vs Radical SR4 lateral g test (a no-brainer if U ask me).

Thanks for doing this. All I need is a little Coochas video action to cheer up any hectic day. You really are not bad for a gas passer. I did my fellowship in Hand in Boston. The year I was there was the warmest winter on record (99-2000). Only had negative 50 with windchill for 10 days. Great city although you should bring your p-car out to Cali for a real good time.

I see now,...I've been trying to figure out your screen name for so long - it never dawned on me that USC and Hand were 'in' there. You realize that those all night hand cases for us anesthesiologists are what we call "hand jobs" - not the most exciting anesthetics.
I'm sure the roads are a bit smoother in Cali than here...I got the AWD just so I could get in and out of all the holes in the roads.
Glad you're enjoying the vids.

Nice. Some of the videos blew-up on me when I tried to run them, FYI.

No all nighter is complete without a "hand job".

Great videos, Dave.

BTW, how do you pay for the bandwidth?? How much does supporting something like this run?? Just curious.

The cost is pretty reasonable. I think I pay about $20 a month to a host named Cedant. For an amateur site, this is paying on the high side but I wanted someone who would give me "unlimited bandwidth." That being said, everything has been great since I moved to Cedant EXCEPT after I put up a hot GT3 vid about 2 months ago I had a period of a week where the bandwidth averaged about 60 GB a day!!! My site was taken down for a few hours after an 80 GB day and was restored immediately after I 'trimmed' a few vids down and assured them that the traffic would subside in a few days.
I would consider running my own server if running a second cable into our condo wouldn't be a pain,...but for now, this works fine and makes me happy.

Which ones? Anyone else having problems?? If it's one of the mp4 files you just need to run Quicktime 7.
A great viewer (for Mac and PC) is to use Quicktime 7 and then add the flip4mac plug-in:
For PC Click Here
For Mac click here
With the flip4mac plug-in to Quicktime, you can view QT and WMV files. Upgrade to Quicktime 7 Pro and you can then Export video to just about any format you want (wmv, avi, mov, iPod etc).

That is so funny that you say that...today, I finally added some oil to her after 2300 miles! No video of the occasion though...sorry.

Dave,

Thanks for all of your work. Your videos helped me to pass the time while I was a waiter.
