have a 997s and 996. 996 had a non-smokers option that replaced ashtray with a small storage bin. does the 997 have a similar option?

 

I would ask Eric at www.bumperplugs.com (rennlist sponsor, good guy).
He sells them for the 996 (I bought one, painted Lapis Blue to match OEM painted center console), so he might know.

Unfortunately Porsche has not released a non-smoker option for the 997/987 rear console....yet.

We've been asking for over a year....nothing yet though.

 

Also--I found out the coupes are the cars with the little bin aft of the console lid; cabriolets have nothing aft of the console lid. Suspect Porsche figured that an open bin in a cabriolet would quickly shed its contents in the wind.
