Default Can 997 be programed for daylight driving lights

Any of you experts know whether a 2006 997 can be programed for daylight driving lights. I can't find any reference in the manual.

From a previous post (not by me..):

"If you purchase a car with the PCM, under the main display, if you push the set button, you have the option of activating or de-activating the day time driving lights. So if your car has PCM, ie the navigation system, it already is equipped with daytime driving lights. Even from the US."

If no PCM/Sport Chrono, you can have the dealer do it with PIWIS, I think. At most, you'll need a new relay (also gleaned from previous a previous post...).

Good luck, man.

I believe you must have the sports chrono package (not 100% sure on that).
I programed mine a couple of weeks ago. It's in the PCM manual (page 23? if i recall correctly)
You have your "main" screen up and hit the "set" button on the right. That brings up some choices one of which is lights/daytime driving

YES.
With Sport Chrono under Individual Memory settings you can activate DRL yourself.

Without the dealer can activate with the PIWIS system tester.

Thanks for your input. I have the PCM with NAV, but do not have the Sport Chrono or the multi-function steering wheel. Under MAIN, SET -- my screen displays only PCM SYSTEM and MAIN DISPLAY (list does not include INDIVID. MEMORY and STEERING WHEEL) and I can not get to a sub-menu for INDI*******MORY, which is, apparently, the sub-menu which includes LIGHT, WIPER, etc.

So... I'll try the dealer if they can set daylight running lights under PIWIS.

Thanks again for all your input.
