Default Has anyone put a set of BBS LMs on a 997 yet?

For being one of the most popular wheel options on all 911s, I don't think I recall having seen a set on a 997 yet.

I was told they don't fit and the likely the first BBS rims to fit the 997 would be the RS-GTs.

I initially wanted to buy the LMs. I am very happy with my Kinesis F110s though.

Closest thing to BBS LM's on a 997 I've seen are these similar-looking RIAL;
PIC I
IMHO not the greatest looking combo, at least not in the pic above.

Sorry to go off on F110 tangent , but I'm with Crazy Canuck-- Kinesis F110's look incredible:
Kinesis F110 Pic I
Kinesis F110 Pic II
Kinesis F110 Pic III
...reads like an ad for Sharkwerks but it's okay-- they're a Rennlist sponsor.

That's awful. Tire Rack lists them as an option for the 997 on their site though. Maybe they'll add fitments in the future.

I too love the F110. It's simply a gorgeous wheel.

Tire Rack told me the LMs wouldn't fit. This was about 6 months ago though.

The size would work but not the offset. This was 6 months ago so maybe the outlook has improved.

You are probably right; that site does not show the offsets - 57/67.

Wheel Enhancement (Dave) told me that the LMs wouldn't fit. Give them a call, perhaps something has changed.

These look interesting (BBS Race Wheels) and Carnewal lists 19" fitments for BBS LMs but BBS USA's site only lists 18 inch fitments.

...And the same wheel with magnesium centers:

Damon at TireRack is able to obtain the BBS race wheels for you to fit a 997.

I just ordered a set from Tire Rack. I'll post pictures this week. I ordered a set of the Bridgestone All Season tires for them. The PS2s are eating me out of house and home.

These are my RS-GTs - not LMs, but you get the picture (literally). Post pics when you get yours!
