Default Salesman of the month

Stopped by the Champion Porsche dealer today and ran into my salesman. He asked me if I had activated the chronograph yet. I said yes I had played with it, why.
He Said " Did you notice the power surge when you activate the chronograph"

What? I said

" Oh yeah... When you activate the chrono you get a 20 HP boost and a different throttle curve"

What the hell???? Where do these people come from?

They are sales people. Actually if we recorded everything they told us, wonder if we could sent the car back based on the non-truths? lol

Let me explain further. He was talking about just activating the stopwatch portion.

Oh...gotcha. Then he was 100% stupid, not just 50%. Thanks for clarifying. I thought when you activated the chronograph that, not only does your car speed up perceptibly, but the outside world ACTUALLY SLOWS DOWN as well. Really neat option.

Aint it funny........most of us could do better with half our brains tied behind our backs.

Not only that.......maybe buying a car like this from someone with a tad more knowledge (& passion) might enhance the whole experience.......ya think?

naaaahhh

What amazes me is that most salesmen, there are of course many exceptions, don't take the time to learn about the product they are selling. Most of us have occupations tha thave nothing to do with cars, yet we know far more about cars than most salesmen do.

Having (briefly) dealt with Braman (which I assume you may have), I can only imagine the same young New Yorker wannabe salesman I dealt with at the dispensing end of such top secret information. He should proabbaly (at least), before rattling off some of the diahrea that comes out from that guys mouth.
