Anyone know how high the 997S w/aero kit sits off the ground (the front lip, in particular)? I know the 997S gets a 10 mm drop from the base 997 and the aero kit looks really hot, but I don't think I can get it in and out of my driveway.

I've no idea how low the aerokit is for the front lip, I only know that I'm glad that I didn't get it on my car. I've had my S for exactly a week and I'm having to take every driveway at a diagonal, and even then I'm scraping quite a few! If it's a car you want to drive everyday in the real world I would recommend passing on an aerokit.

Front clearance at the leading edge is approx 5".

Go out to your car, find the rubber spliter under the center of your bumper, extend a straight edge forward to the bumpers forward edge.
Thats an approximation of aerokit ground clearance.

the aerokit is beautiful but with the ride height of my car i'm afraid i'd destory it. The rubber diffuser scrapes everything I go on even when I angle it.

Here is the rennlist ad (also in my sig). The only mod I've done so far is clear side reflectors. I bought a B&M SSK and AP linkage, but I'm going to save it for the 997. I put the asking price at $54k.

Ya know, I never measured my Aero C2S, but I clear speed bumps in our condo. I'll have to measure the clearance one day. Here's my Aerocup kit which now I hear some people call the rear wing a "taco". I'll have to get back to you as to height. But I LOVE the way it looks in black and with the PCCB's and yellow seatbelts, it's one sharp looking car!
