There's gotta be a Canadian connection, somehow. Was Chris Farley Canadian?

1Gunner currently uses that line in his sig.

Am I the only one that thinks DM looks like a deranged psycho in Ben's latest avatar? That picture is creeping me out....

No, I don't think Chris Farley was Canadian. Dan Ackroyd went to my high school. Dave Thomas, Rick Moranis, Norm MacDonald, John Candy, Eugene Levy, Martin Short, Jim Carrey, Dave Foley, Tom Green, Phil Hartman RIP, Rich Little, Howie Mandel, Mike Myers, Leslie Nielson, Will Sasso, Tommy Chong, Lorne Michaels all Canadian comedians though. Probably forgot a few. It's a long list.

500k/year should surely support your C2S unless you blow all your jack on hookers and liquor. Hiccup.

this certainly will not be one of the great forum questions of all time. i can't believe how many pages of responses there are too!

bottom line is the question is completely irrelevant. how much someone makes has nothing to do with their ability to buy a 997. why don't you ask why people decide to buy a 997? i think that would be infinitely more interesting.

You can have your 997S and eat your Ramen too!
Seriously, you should be deciding if you want a Boxster or a Cayenne to go with your 997.

Bingo! I am the only one in the Mobile Home Park with a Porsche and 3 Lexus.

I choose to have my toys and not pay outrageous prices for houses in the Bay Area and pay huge property taxes to Arnold.

So, you're all here to tell me that with my measly salry of about $60K net, I can not buy a new C2S, a second high end car, live in a nice (half mill or so) house, go on vacations, eat out often, and still have money to spare???

If I can do it, anyone can

Oh wait, my wife works too. So add another $20K. lol
