here's another set up:

"Camera is a Sanyo HD-1. it is tiny. Records 720P video to a SD memory card. I attached it with a mini Cardellini clamp and a suction mount to the windshield. It is a very elegant solution except the tapping which it turns out was the screen. I flipped it around and closed it. In the future I will tape it. I also used the Sanyo wide angle adapter that give a better field of view more like a person has. That gives a more realistic sensation of speed. Here is a couple pics of the camera setup. Pardon the dust on the windshield. it seems to accumulate instantly in my garage."

Be careful with suction cup camera mountings as some DE hosts do not allow them.
