I put together a little video of my CGT on the track earlier this month, with different angles, and good sound from a pro quality stereo mic.
Check it out at my site: www.mentalmotoring.com/videos.html
Cheers!

VERY nice, Ray! What a HUGE differernce in the quality of the sound between the 2005 and the 2006 videos. Great looking car. I'll bet it is just AWESOME to drive! BTW, I really like your 997 S with the X51 option, too. What a great stable of cars you have! I'll bet that every time you enter your garage, you look like this ==>

Thanks guys. The CGT is so great on the track, it's unreal. It's like driving a 1964 VW beetle for years, and then driving a new 911. I am always surprised how good the car is.
icon, the gallery pics were taken with my Nikon D2H digital SLR.

I always enjoy watching Ray go past me. The car sounds unreal. It is fun to watch daredevils drive dangerous cars that fast. For such a smart guy I do not know why he has not put ALMS aero surfaces on the car.

Would you mind describing the specific equipment (i.e. camera, microphone, data acquisition device) and software that you used for this production? I'd like to try something similar. In particilar, I'm interested if anyone can recreate the 1.2 lateral g that the factory claims for this car.

Camera kit: Hoyttech Sony - I think it is this kit: link
Mic: Rode NT4 stero mic
Mixer: Behringer MXB1002
G-meter video overlay device: Hoyttech G-Box
DV Camcorder: doesn't matter, but I used a Sony VX2100
Post production: Sony Vegas 6.0 editor, and Adobe Photoshop
If you look at the lateral G meter at the top of the video, it touches 1.2 g several times.

That's a nifty video, Pete. I like how the CGT just pulls away when it has room. It's the other end of the spectrum from my Elise ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Our avatars, could it be, wait, that is the same track!
