I really appreciate that, the enzo is entertaining to see cut in half and all but the 997? While minding it's own business? Damn.

I've read several stories about 993 headlights being stolen for their Xenon parts - whether they have them or not. It's a shame those low-life bastards can't keep their grubby little hands off what we work so hard to get.

Yes, I confirmed that it was 16 cars with stolen lights... ALL had xenon and it was a professional who stole them! Some of the cars sustained injuries

my best guess, they are using very strong suction cup to pull them out. Some of these cups can pull over a few hundred pounds.

welcome to the world of international gangs. those parts will go to asia markets. nothing new about it.

a set of 40 computers were stolen in MA here, and news said 2 days ago cops were lucky to intercept some of them near Seattle sea ports.

That's your first post? Commenting on a 2006 event?

Read yesterday it's a big problem in Detriot with truck tailgates, too.

If it isn't nailed down.........wait.

Some of these posters may be currently posting in the sky.

Anyhow, speaking of Porsche dealers, if I hear one more customer service gal with a thick southern accent saying on the phone "welcome to Porsch", I will absolutely scream! I can't take it anymore!!!

Surprised they don't have an app for that. Wouldn't it be great to install a quad-view camera in the car that streams pictures every few seconds to your website? I also like the armed contractor idea.

I have heard similar stories of tail gate theft and wheels/tires.

A friend of mine in Houston told me about 15 or so new trucks at a dealership that the wheels/tires were stolen one night - in plain view on the street!

When I was a kid growing up in Denver, it was the Wolfsburg badges on VW bugs (the colored badge at the base of the chrome trim strip on the frunk). It was rare that you saw a bug with the Wolfsburg badge back then.

In the mid 80s it was BMW hood badges.. I had the roundel pried off the hood of my '86 325.. pissed me off big time. That was back when hip-hop was becoming popular, and the local thugs thought it was cool to wear a M-B tri-bar or BMW badge on a gold chain around their worthless necks..

I hate a thief almost as much as I hate a liar..
