Default Power Window Question

The driver's side window has the one touch up and down feature. The passenger side window also goes down with one touch. However, the passenger side window does not go up with one touch until you get to about 1/2 of the way up.

Do all of you have the same experience or is it a problem with my car's window control?

If you are really quick touching the right button it will go up. I am never that quick.

It's documented right in the manual - that's how it's supposed to work.

Geeze, I was bracing for a sarcastic insult there. That's lately the type of comments I get. Thanks for the compliments.

My, what a pleasant surprise - someone actually appreciates how linked threads help tie the knowledge we share and learn together, and makes it easier to follow the "thread" of thought in a particular area of concern.

Ideally we would all do an initial search to see if the topic has been discussed before, that way we can keep all relevant discussions in a "logbook" of sorts which should make for an enjoyable read. But that's not gonna happen, realistically speaking.

I've been here a little over a year now and I'm young enough not to be suffering from dementia where I can't remember most of what's been discussed in that time, well for sure recently discussed. And so I go about and do a quick search to retrieve the relevant threads.

The key to searching is using the right "key" word. For example, in this thread about power window operation I remembered the topic but not the exact wording of the thread title. But I was absolutely certain the key word "window" was in it. And so I used "window" as my search word and - voila! - just like that it popped out, along with several other non-relevant threads. But it's easy to weed those out once you've narrowed it down and know what you're looking for.

Is it just the coupe that has this 'feature' or does the cab also have the one touch after half way on the passenger window?
