That's old news for us locals. He was arrested for grand theft property, instead of grand theft auto, because of the value of the cars, which carries stiffer penalties. The liens on the vehicles are held by financial institutions which has claimed theft due to a failure to make the payments on his part.

Also the saliva DNA results are in and the comparison to the blood DNA on the steering wheel airbag are known by the police but have yet to make the disclosure public.

BTW, aren't those base 997 wheels on the Enzo cake? .. LOL!

Locals in the sense that it's local news coverage for us greater Los Angeles viewers.
Not in the sense that we get to actually rub elbows with this crowd, though on occasion we do make some celebrity sightings when we go out.

What I really would've liked was a OJ style chase with the ENZO and LAPD hot on his heels. I mean the ENZO would zoom past everything! If he did it in the SLR, then he'd have NAV to help with navigation since he is a foreigner.

Amazing how that guy's car had its rear end all busted up - and now that he's been arrested, his rear end is gonna get all busted up in the pokey.

I can only recall running into two celebs here in Orange County, both times at restaurants. In Laguna Beach at one of my favorite restaurants, Javier's, we sat a few tables across from Lindsey Davenport (an OC native) and her boyfriend. My, she's a tall gal.

At our favorite sushi bar we've had the unfortunate luck to run into Rodman twice - what an obnoxious a-hole. The place is really small too. The first time he was on good behavior for the most part. The second and the last time he was drunk out of his gore. Yelling and making such a scene that he ruined the dining experience for all of us there. I felt like going up and telling him to STFU. I said I felt like it, but his little entourage was trying to keep him under control. He had two hot little blondes with him too. ... He's been a nuisance here ever since he bought property in Newport Beach. I believe he finally sold his beach house and no longer lives here - thank God!

 

Lindsey is married to Jon Leach, former USC tennis player.
