did anyone NOT recieve their nav dvd when they got their vehicle?
my nav lost it's memory when i had i sys failure and i went looking for the dvd. it wasnt in the case for it or the drive in the front trunk.

Mine was put in the drive on delivery.
I thought it had to stay there.

Mine is in the drive, doesn't it have to be in the drive for the Nav to function?

It seems to me that a GREAT place to store the DVD would be in one of the two disc holders in the glovebox.

Yeah Jeff, check there. And if not there complain to your dealer that you never got it. Hopefully they don't know you as well as we do and won't think you're trying to pull a fast one. Not that you would ever do such a thing, being a man of integrity and all.

thanks edgy01 & beverly hills ben, i just checked the glove box holders and no luck.
but i didnt know those were there so at least i learned something new!
the dealer is getting me another disc but it's still WEIRD!?!?!

did you check the manual for the Nav? Maybe it's in there.

Did the nav ever work?
If it did the disc was in the drive, where it resides.

If it is gone now somebody snagged it.

I'll be back in Birmingham in late May, for guess what??

Can you check the release date on your new DVD when you get it. I'd like to know if an updated version is out yet.

What is most current release date with the Nav System? Mine is 04.2005.
