Default Lloyds mats color choice

I'm ordering Lloyds Carrera S mats for my basalt c2s cab. Do you guys reccomend black or graphite black carpet color. Also, going for the 2 tone embroidery-white carrera lettering with red S. Have black leather interior with guards red seat belts.
What's the best option?

I just took a look at the samples at USspeed. personally, i would go with the standard black presuming that you have the std black carpet. my 996 had black std leather/carpet and the lloyds black worked well. the white/red logo will stand out better against the darker mat IMHO

Please take some pics when you get them. I'm thinking of getting some for my 997S as well.

Default Ever considered Coco Mats?

Coco Mats are cool-looking, nicely retro, and they wear like iron. Not everybody's first choice, but I love mine.
Had 'em on my '88. Got 'em in my Speedster, too.

Cool thx for the pics Jay. I checked out Coco mats as well, but they're not me. I think they're cool though. I guess I'll go with the black, white carrera lettering, red S. Thanks a lot guys. I can't stop buying accessories while I wait for the car. Dealer called me today and said it will be here early May versus late May now. That got me pretty excited!!!!!

I think I'm also going to edge them in red to keep the red seatbelt theme going on as well.

Sort of important for those who care. Guy on the phone I spoke with says getting white embroidery on black mats does not work very well with these. He recommends silver. FYI.

Coco matts WERE once the rage but if you REALLY wnat something that wears like 'iron' then the only choice are sisal matts. They truly never wear,--ever. I have some that I have since pulled from a Porsche that I had in 1994 and they are still going strong,--no heel holes. Coco matts will wind up with a hole in them near the pad near the pedals.

Yes, and during breakdown they leave the darndest mess.

Do these mats somehow anchor so they wont crawl up and interfere with the pedals?

Coco mats these days come with a heel pad. See photo a few posts above.
They also have a non-slip backing to keep 'em out of the pedals.

Even with the heel pads the Cocos don't last that long. sisal.
