Default 997s x51 ? ? ?

has anybody received a 997s with the x51 powerkit installed?
i've seen posts with people ordering them but none with people telling about the performance.
how much quicker is the x51 supposed to be?

Check my prior posts. Very torquie throughout the entire band (breakin..have not exceeded 5400 RPM yet) It is very very quick, and the sound is markedly different from the S. Combination of CF airbox and modified exhaust manifolds.

I wonder if anyone has considered retrofitting the CF air intake for their non-X51 cars. Would we see an improvement in air flow? Or is this just an accoustics thing?

Dan- I think there may be an entirely different mass-airflow intake housing piece on X51 config, not interchangeable piece to connect with regular 3.8S engine.

where you slowly up the rpm with the mileage

so you are satisfied with the x51 and the additional expense was worth it?

so you have 1200 miles and you havent gone over 5400 rpm???
