Steering wheel question, the 17th - and still wondering
The 997 S already comes with the 3-spoke sport steering wheel in leather. Still, I see S-waiters ordering Option 460 (Leather Sport Steering Wheel), listing it as "thicker steering wheel."
I guess my question is: What is the difference between the standard "sport steering wheel in leather" and Option 460's "leather sport steering wheel" (sounds the same to me), and is Option 460 really yet again thicker than the Standard Wheel (which is already thicker than the non-S steering wheel)?
Thank you.

You are confusing a couple of options. The smooth leather option 460 and the thicker leather sport wheel option XPA.
The stock wheel IMO does not seem to be leather. The 460 is that wheel in smooth leather and XPA (pictured) is smaller diamater and thicker leather wheel. I like it.

Now, if that is NOT leather, then the options would make sense. But it does say "leather" so maybe they are confused. In either case, I now see that XPA is the thicker steering wheel and that's what I was really looking for. Thanks!

Why?
Your griping the wheel too tightly..
A light touch is all that is required.
No death grip
