In 6 years and multiple cars with no license plate I’ve never been pulled over or ticketed for any infractions. I did however get a traffic cam ticket for rolling a red light in Orange County.
On our daily drivers, We also have front window tint as well as a very light tint on the windshield in an attempt to avoid the harmful UV rays. Proven fact that sun burns harder in California with our depleted ozone layer.
Years ago, our tint guy gave me some practical advice. He said it’s highly unlikely to get pulled over for tint or plates. He said speeding or driving recklessly is the most common reason for getting stopped and that opens up,the door for the LOE to ticket you on any other infractions.
Ironically my Carrera came with front plate drilled (4 holes) so I decided to leave it on. And I refuse to tint the windows on it as it looks sooooo clean without tint. So if I do ever get stopped it’ll be for legitime reasons which I’m willing to take a calculated risk doing
