Strange Ticking Sound at Start-Up

So I started the 911 up after a few days of sitting in a cold garage and found a rather loud ticking sound coming from the engine that varied with the RPMs. The sound subsided once the car approached operating temperatures but it still concerns me. My first inclination is to believe it's some extra valvetrain noise due to the colder weather but if it continues, I plan to take it back to the dealership.
Has anyone else had a similar issue?
Thanks.

It's just oil circulation. Leave the car for a few days and they typically make a clattering "tappety" sound. It's normal and nothing to worry about as it goes away once oil is circulating again.
Just warm it up G E N T L Y.

I always warm it up gently.

Several have reported this on the Cayenne Board...sounds like the blinker is on, but it's not...
The problem is a noisey pump which pressurizes the fuel tank for emissions purposes. Dealer operated pump via software and verified that it was noisey, but would not replace it under warranty because it was within "acceptable level of noisey-ness".
I suspect there will be a TSB for this eventually, especially if these "noisey" pumps actually prove to be faulty.

I was going to say, either it's 2ndary air or perhaps a noisy lifter. Shouldn't be happening though, IMO.
I've had similar sounds re: to catastrophic valve-train failure, but I don't think that is what you have. If so, it wouldn't go away when it was warm.
