I've gone DLRARR - Whoohoo!!!!
I've gone DLRARR (Arrived at Dealership) as of 10:00 AM this morning. Unfortunately the dealership is 1.5 hours away and I can't get up there until I take delivery on Thursday (darn kids ).
Here's some pics of my baby taken from a POS 1 megapixels camera. Sadly this is the best resolution I can get (they were compressed small when sent to me).
The wait between now and Thursday is going to be painful! At this point, I'm thinking I should ask my salesperson to "put my car on the phone" and crank that sports exhaust for me.
The next person in line who is ONVESL can now claim the avitar from OCBen.

It has to do with a lot of things, not just the kids (they are easy targets to blame though).
At the end of the day, the wait will be painful but like they say "good things come to those who wait."
Thanks for the support guys!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words! I've instructed them to keep the car in the garage with all of the coverings on it until they detail it on Wednesday. Hopefully she'll be fine.
I found out some great news on renntech.org in the form of a Porsche service bulletin for 2006 models. They actually have a "production mode" for the cars that doesn't get turned off until it arrives at the dealership. This keeps the maximum speed to 20 mph, it limits the RPM's, limits the max volume for the stereo, and has other limits to keep jackasses from ragging your car in transit -- WHOOHOO!!!!
There are also suspension devices to protect the car during shipping and keep the car stiff so it doesn't rock under high seas and get damaged.
