Porsche is mandated to begin adding things (as they are each year) by DOT. So, you can guess that prices will be up. Don't count on getting TPMS and other goodies for 'free.'

Over the years I have only seen about 2-3 years where prices went down on the 911,--and that's counting from 1972

If I remember correctly, at my dealership, they recieved one or two 06 models before September, then there was a long wait for the factory shutdown lag. I could be wrong though.

I thought the new model year started after the factory shut down in August.

My car, which was built in May, was one of the last of the 05's built as ordered through my dealership. The ordered cars with June production dates were 06's, according to the dealership's allocation.
